POBLANO PEPPER


One of the most popular chilies in Mexico. 4½ inch long mildly hot peppers are medium walled, tapered to a blunt point, and wrinkled with dark green skin that turns a deep red color when mature. Known as Poblano when used fresh they are widely used for making chili rellens and mole. Dried they are known as Ancho and often used in chili powder.
